Draft Operational Policy
This document represents the technical and operational policy structure for the SMSGenix platform preview. Final regulatory terms must be confirmed with legal counsel and published prior to production launch.
An organisation holds one shared prepaid monetary wallet and eligible SMS bundle segment entitlements. Authorized team members spend from this balance subject to role permissions and project-level spending caps. All message dispatches and funding activities are attributed to the initiating member or API key.
SMSGenix operates strictly on a pre-funded bank transfer model. Automated credit cards, instant online checkout, and automatic debit permissions are not supported. Funds become spendable only after an authorized platform administrator verifies the bank transfer evidence and posts a manual ledger credit. The submission of a transfer slip does not constitute confirmed receipt of funds.
Messaging charges and bundle allocations are measured in SMS segments. Standard GSM-7 messages permit 160 characters for single messages and 153 characters for multi-part messages. Messages containing Unicode characters (including Sinhala, Tamil, and emoji) permit 70 characters for single messages and 67 characters for multi-part messages. Estimates provided in UI composers are indicative until final server quote generation.
Alphanumeric Sender IDs (Masks) are subject to regulatory clearance by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) and downstream mobile network operators. Users must furnish valid Business Registration (BR) documentation and signed authorization letters. SMSGenix reserves the right to suspend any mask reported for phishing, deceptive impersonation, or unapproved marketing.
